D. Bluhm Shihan Teaches at Multnomah Aikikai April 2023

Seminar classes will include Aikido (body arts and weapons), and Iaido. Friday night iaido class will focus on the Shindo Munen Ryu (standing) forms. On Saturday afternoon Bluhm Sensei plans to take us through some of the Kumitachi (partner practices) associated with the Shindo Munen Ryu (standing) forms. These forms offer themes that will be explored through the aikido classes as well on Saturday and Sunday morning. For example the "four basics" of kirigaeshi, suriotoshi, uchiotoshi and suriage are found in body arts, aiki bokken, and iaido.
